We invite all to become members of the Society for Louisiana Irises. There are several categories of membership at the rates shown below.
Receive a mail subscription to the printed Fleur de Lis, the full-color magazine of SLI.
Available for two adults within the same household. Both family members become full voting members of SLI, but only one copy of the Fleur de Lis is mailed to the family.
Available for any age up to 17.
Do not include the right to vote on SLI business during general membership meetings.
May be for individuals or a family outside the United States.

Your membership will begin the month your payment is received and will continue for as many calendar years for which you paid. If you renew your membership, the renewal will extend your membership by the number of years you choose. If you renew after your expiration date, the renewal will be applied back to the month renewed and continued for the number of years selected. You never lose any months by renewing early.
The Society for Louisiana Irises invites everyone to give memorial gifts in the names of deceased individuals and gifts in honor of living people. Both are accepted with gratitude by the Society. We will send an acknowledgment to both the honoree and the donor (other than memorial donations) and donors will be acknowledged in the Fleur de Lis (unless requested otherwise).
Send payments for Memorials and Gift Subscriptions to the SLI Treasurer, Diane Louw, 18422 Lake Iris Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70817-7581, payable to SLI. The donor may provide instructions about the purpose and requested use of the funds.
The Society for Louisiana Irises is a Section within the American Iris Society. However, membership in AIS is not a part of SLI membership. SLI encourages all its members to join the American Iris Society.
SLI needs volunteers with our convention, sales, the website, social media, and other activities. An hour (or a few) during an event or on a project will be a huge help. Please contact an officer or board member or complete the form below. We will let you know about future volunteer opportunities. SLI events are fun, and they usually provide an opportunity to work with like-minded people.
We encourage all Louisiana iris enthusiasts to reach out to us with general and specific inquiries, questions on membership, requests for information, and ideas and suggestions. We want to hear from you!
